I guess I don't see how the codes you had would be related. The 141 code is for the brake pedal switch, and it seems you fixed that one. The 436 code is somehow related to oxygen sensors and the fuel system. From my reading it could be a bad rear O2 sensor, a bad front O2 sensor, and/or a bad catalytic converter. Each of these is a pretty expensive component to just replace and see if it works. The car does smell pretty bad after running, though, and I have long suspected a fouled catalytic converter.
