??? The V70s don't have a plastic thingy sticking out of the center of the grill, just the 850s. If you have an 850, get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull on the metal rod that the plastic used to belong to.

If you have a V70, then the release is under the bottom of the grill/hood, at the bumper's top.
