Excessive engine vibration at idle V70-XC70 2005

Yes, this engine idles at 650 RPM. As I raise the idle, the vibration does decrease to a tolerable amount. 750 RPM seems to be optimum. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think the idle can be adjusted mechanically. I think it would have to be a software adjustment. Can this be done at a Volvo dealership with their computer?
