Problem with check engine/no power V70-XC70 98

Wondering if any other XC or V70 owners running into problem of check engine light coming on, with upshift arrow flashing while the car goes to high RPMs and loses power (basically goes to limp mode). Dealer got a computer code stating flush transmission fluid (which they said was black)and supposedly test drove it, but I picked it up and by the time I got home (4 miles), problem re-emerged! A lot of things have gone wrong with this car (it has 60k):

Passenger front door reflector light constantly breaks(replaced 3 times)

Whining noise on startup (dealer says air pump, wants $950 to replace)

Lamp bulbs burned out quickly (finally fixed on recall)

Engine ran rough at 58k (dealer couldn't diagnose)

Power steering pump (35k) and rack replaced (49k)

Check engine light has come on three or four times--oxygen and temperature sensors replaced

Rattle in sun roof (dealer tried to fix but couldn't)

Battery replaced at 55k (thought that was a little early but maybe not)

Basically I like driving this car but am amazed at all the problems. If anyone has encountered similar situation to first problem described, would be curious to know solution. Am fed up with the dealer overcharging for everything, including $620 for 60k service. Not going to dealer anymore.
