The spring is trashed. What is the fix? Can I get a new spring? Is there a replacement latch assembly? Is it a difficult install?

So far, it's working properly, but I'm sure my wife is going to call from the road saying that the tailgate won't shut, it keeps bouncing open, it's pouring rain, and her stuff is getting wet. Thanks.
