Strut question, wisdom needed 850 1993

I too have been considering strut replacemnt. There is an excellent tut on Bay 13. photos and everything.

Flynscot - $160 for everything!!!! I shop at FCP groton and the parts totaled $300 each side - strut, strut mount, bumper stop, some othet BS new nuts and bolts as reccomended. Guess I'm just a little too replacemnt crazy. The parts cost has been what stopped me thus far.
