HELP! Front End Vibration 850 1997

I'm a proud owner of a 850 R Wagon. I'm having problems with front end vibration, when I first noticed it, I thought I had a flat tire, tires seem to be fine. I took it in to a local garage, they rebalanced the tires and checked inflation. Still having the problem. I replaced the front brake rotors to slotted discs, could that be a problem?
