Tightening Tail Gate is Quite Easy V70-XC70

I read the various fixes on this and other sites and their complexity. I fixed the tailgate rattle in about 15 minutes. You need the correctly sized torx bits. One for the trim torx screws and one for the two torx screws that affix the latch receiver. You remove the plastic trim screws to slightly move the trim to allow insertion of a torx tool into the two torx screws that hold the receiver to the body. You loosen the torx screws and move the receiver towards the front of the car and then retighten these screws. I moved the receiver about one half inch and now my tailgate is tight and does not rattle.
