It could be the turbo, my 850 with the HPT does make a high pitched sound whenever the boost is up. You will notice that there is no boost with the car in P or D, and, with no noise, you can rule out the idle rollers or the air intake. The extreme speed of the turbo, 100,000 rpm can cause your issue and is not to be worried about.
