high-pitched whining noise during acceleration and deceleration S60

Call this "a shot in the dark" - My 93 850 (non-turbo) had high pitched sound above 10 mph, like a tea kettle whistle. It went away when the throttle was released. Turned out to be a front wheel bearing was worn. Replaced bearing and the noise was gone.
