Header clearance

Hi Michael,

There is no way you can fit an xpipe on the 240Ford V8 conversion. I tried everything to get this to work and it is not possible. Just get the sledge hammer out and you will fit the Ford Racing headers with no problems. You only have to pound a bit on the passenger side rail and cut the corners on the lower control arm "metal structural bracket that holds the rear control arm bushing"(now there is a mouth full:>)I did this on my car. It will work very well and don't worry about doing any structural damage to the rails as they are built like the proverbial "brick sh*t house". I can remove the headers without raising the engine and I can also replace the exhaust system without taking the tranny out. Also, if you use the "mini" starter it creates a lot more room.
If it is not snowing!! tomorrow I will get some pictures and send them to you of my header and "indentation"

Cheers,
