what am I doing wrong here? 444-544

Hello All,
I have not been able to sell my 544 yet. What keeps happening is I spend several hours on the phone and emailing people, they agree to come and see it and then vanish. I have spent a lot keeping this car in top running shape. (see previous post about all that has been done.)
I am about to give it up and put it on Ebay but it is my baby and I would hate to give to an unknown person who may not be a volvo family member. I have attached a few photos, I am asking $3500 the low side of blue book. Any recommendations, am I asking too much...help me out please. Hemmings has one listed for $9000.
