Looks like a very nice car... But these old Volvos do tend to scare folks who don't know how easy they are to maintain... Finding the right buyer locally can be a problem...
Some years ago I tried to sell an old car locally (advertised in major Denver metro papers)... a '61 Jag MK2. It was a project, I advertised it for $3500 willing to take $2500. I got one call, and nobody came for a looksee. So I stuck it on ebay... starting bid at my bottom dollar of $2500. It ended up bidding up to $4200, and the buyer (a huge Jaguar enthusiast) had to pay shipping to CA on top of that...
Definitely try the free online classified as seen here at Brickboard, and on IPD website, but if it comes down to sticking her on ebay... don't be afraid. Nobody but a Volvo enthusiast will buy it. It is very unlikely that it won't go to a good home. And you may well end up getting more than your asking price.
Just start the bidding at the minimum you are willing to take, and see what happens. I think your asking price is fair based on what I see in your pics.
Good luck with it!
