Thanks for the response Herb.
I agree that the noise on takeoff seems to point toward bushings as a likely culprit and indeed I hoped it would be eliminated when I replaced the likely suspects - the torque rod and rear trailing arm bushings. Both replaced with polyurethane from FCPGroton. Unfortunately, this hasn't cured that noise. The ride improved with the new bushings, but the noises are still there. I've spent a lot of time under there retorquing things and knocking on stuff with a mallet and I just can't find anything still loose in the suspension. In addition, I did replace the transmission mount recently - it had turned to mush - but that didn't eliminate the noise. If it isn't suspension components, I tend to think that it is brake or drivetrain related. I'm just trying to get some suggestions on what to look for when I get back under there.
