Okay,
If you want more power out of your 240, supposed "chips" and "cold air intakes" will do nothing. To get real results, you need real performance parts.
A measure of success can be obtained by updating all your replaceables and making sure everything is in tune. Proper Bosch ignition cap/rotor/spark plugs. Bougicord wires. New air & fuel filter. Don't buy any of it from PepBoys or Walmart. Get it from FCPGroton.com
Beyond that, I'd suggest a VX camshaft upgrade from IPD. Good time to replace the timing belt and do a valve adjustment too. Then the Turbo exhaust upgrade. Sub out the 2 resonators for a straight pipe and the free flowing muffler meant for 240 turbo's. You'll still pass your emissions test as well.
Beyond that, do we really want our teenage kids driving 200 hp rockets? I think not. A little more power is good for safety, too much is dangerous in the hands of the inexperienced. Never in a million years would I hand over the keys to my 850 Turbo to one of my kids.
