Snap-On tools

I am fortunate to have a Snap-On dealer as a neighbour so I occasionally peruse the truck. I've only ever bought one Snap-On tool, and that's the indispensable #2 Philips screwdriver.

But my next purchase I am considering getting the Snap-On 3/8" ratchet. I consider this tool to be probably the most used for working on the car so it's the only thing I can justify the huge $$$.

The bad news is the price: $92 CDN. I wouldn't worry about it so much as I take good care of my tools and would have it for 30+ yrs ... the problem is the theft around here. The one time I DID leave my garage door open, ~%75 of my tools disappeared so I'm a bit reluctant to get really good stuff. Maybe I'll store the ratchet inside..

Here's the one I want though. As you mention, the ability to move in 5 deg increments is a real asset:

Ratchet, Round Head, Standard Handle, 7 19/32"
