Are the contact points (in the distributor) opening enough to CREATE the spark?
Should be 59 to 65 degrees with a dwell meter and this is STEP ONE for a no-start condition. I understand a .016 feeler gauge can get ya close to the proper gap.
(if there is an electronic ignition installed, I missed that part).
The wet plugs make me think it's not getting a spark, and again, spark starts at the points.
