Brake lights not working -- Needs new fuse?

Most of the time a blown fuse on your particular Volvo is readily apparent. That year car uses a ceramic fuse that has a thin strip of metal that runs across the length of the fuse. When they blow, there is a small break in the middle of the metal.Sometimes however they can break right at either end of the metal and that is difficult too see.The fuses are located on the panel that is close to your left leg as you sit in the car to drive it . They are behind a small door that comes off with a twist of the small tab that holds iy on. I do not remember which one is the brake light fuse for your car, hopefully there is an owners manual in the glove box that will have the location. And yes any auto parts store should have the replacement.
