240 wagon vs. lumber

I have transported 2x4x8ft lumber, but only a few at a time, in my 245s. Rear seat folded down, boards between front seats and resting on the dash. Keeping them close to the windshield reduces any momentum generated by a panic stop. Also requires driving style focussed on avoiding panic stops.

You choose, Kane's post is good.

Regards,

Bob
