Remote Trunk Opener 200 1982

As Bob says, it's not to hard to install, But I prefer the "linear" (push-pull) solenoid type over the rotary style he mentions. I think the rotary is newer. I had 2 or 3 around once, from junkers.

I mounted my push-button just behind the upper left corner of the rear license plate (had to drill a hole there) and picked power off a green wire (always hot) in the left side harness (for antenna I think).

A slight push on the plate popped the latch. IMO, much handier than the stock location. No need to unlock the car.
