240 won't start 200

I'll give the check valve a try. This could also be the problem with my car. I haven't tried to crank it over for much longer than a couple of spins. My battery just can't go much longer than that. Speaking of batteries, what is the correct size for the 240? The PO of my car put in a battery that's much too large and comes close to touching the hood when it's closed. I'll probably replace with an Interstate soon.
