Hi...we have a problem. occaisionally the car will not start for no reason i can see. it cranks, it has spark. i was thinking it might be the fuel pump, but the car doesn't die once it's running, it only fails to start after being shut off for a while, like overnight. my brother in law told me about something called the fuel pump relay, which is supposed to be in front of the passenger seat, and sometimes needs to be soldered where the leads come into it. I could find no fuel pump relay, just two three-wired things hanging ther with clips in them. I thought they might need to be grounded, so i clipped them to that thin galvanized strip thats in the same area.
does anyone have any idea what my problem (besides lousy writing skills) might be?
