Hello.
On me, the insulator helped in a different way on my hs6's... I always had fuel boiling problems here in hot bangkok traffic, first I moved the airfilter so it gets plain fresh air by the grill, that helped abit. But then I made some bakelite spacers, about 15mm thick, that helped quite alot here. (the temp in the shade gets past 40degree celcius sometimes, think about in a mega traffic jam... wahhhhh! I don't even want to walk outside the car, and all the fumes!!!)
Just another thought.
