fuse problems 200 1986

On one of my 87's (that I sold) the seat heater switches were adrift in a broken center console. They shorted against the tunnel, and I'd have no turn signals. Blown fuse of course.
A new center console fixed that, and I did add just a bit of electrical tape to the connectors just in case. Never blew the fuse again.
As for the fuse 12, well, do you expect the AC to work in an 86? I don't. It doesn't work in most 10+ year old cars, or if it does, it costs a bundle to keep it working. But all the advice given so far is good about fusebox maintenance and so on. The other item, the reverse lights could be due to a bad switch or misalignment due to bad motor mounts.
good luck with it.
