radiator problem?? 200 1981

i recently had similar problem..phantom leaks around hose connections at radiator, water pump and thermostat housing. Turns out the radiator was clogged about 60% and the water pump built up pressure that had to find an escape..and it forced it the hose connections in very small amounts, but enough to notice. Only happened at high speeds and only on hot days. Solution, got a new, all metal radiator for $105 US and installed it myself in 30 minutes. No more leaks.
