rebuild myself or replace the BRAKE master cly 200

I would replace the master cylinder. A new one (made by ATE.. the Volvo OEM) is $40 from FCP Groton (or about $250 from Volvo). Replacing the master cylinder itself is quite easy, and the biggest difficulty is in bleeding the brakes (good to have MityVac or some sort of pressure bleeder setup). I splurged and spent about $6 on new locknuts from Volvo to bolt the MC to the booster.

It's really your call, but I wouldn't want to experiment much with something so critical to your braking system.
