So this would allow you to mate a T5 to a red block? Hmm. How big/heavy are the T5s? How to the gear ratios compare? How hard would it be to fit one in a 240?

Both of my cars are stock.. but I was just mentioning how much it would be nice to have a true five speed that would allow for a decent 1-2 upshift and not have a huge mess of wiring on it. Hell, both of my M46s are leaky and have some manner of overdrive issues.

I'm not in a position to do anything now. But I get the feeling I'll be replacing the tranny in the wagon sooner than later.
