Rotting Passenger Door-Unscientific Poll 200 1987

I dunno. When I bought my 84 245, a NJ car, it had plenty of rust in all the other places: floor pans, below cargo windows, below hatch, rockers, rear wheel wells. But all the doors were pretty clean. The hatch had been replaced by a bodyshop, but I think the doors were original.
It sounds like your door would best be replaced rather than repaired. Maybe just a new skin, but the window frame needs replacement too.
