Rotting Passenger Door-Unscientific Poll 200 1987

My "Sven-Göran" was born the same year as yours, but what you describe has never been a problem. No rust at all (touch wood!), but my car has admittedly lived a very sheltered life. I do occasionally worry about what might be hiding behind the lower plastic side trim though. This seems to be a perfect place for rust development out of sight.
