Making a turbo engine last as long as a NA?

An extra grand aftermarket oil cooler is not necessary. Oil needs to be hot in order to evaporate the gasoline and water that end up in the engine sump. Cold oil is not good for an engine. Any oil cooler needs to have a thermostat to keep the oil from being below operating temperature, just like any liquid cooled engine needs a coolant thermostat to keep the coolant warm enough for efficient engine operation.
