Making a turbo engine last as long as a NA?

Actually I am pretty excited becasue my new car has a brand new turbo on the crappy engine and the new engine I got has a good turbo as well. It will be less sleepless nights with a spare turbo in the parts bin! Does removeing a trubo only take 30 minutes?? How long does the reinstallation go? My first timing belt change took 2 months!! I did a little bit every weekend while the car sat in the driveway. Actually putting everything back together took me an afternoon.
