RADIATOR PROBLEM 700 1991

I changed the rad. in my 740T this year as preventive maintenance. I'd read too many posts like yours in the past.
When I replaced the rad I also replaced:
-all hoses
-heater control valve
-expansion tank
-water pump
-thermostat
-timing belt and front seals (very easy to do with everything else already apart)

If the upper rad. neck had a blowout then you found the weakest link in your cooling system. If you replace the weakest link, how long till you find the next weakest link?
