Seized lock cylinders- any hope?

"I don't know about disassembly, but it sounds like something I wouldn't try. I've never split a lock cylinder apart since they are so easily replaced."

You would be amazed at how easy it is to disassemble a lock cylinder and re-assemble it. You just have to be organized and systematic. I did the glove box latch on the son's car a couple of years ago, and I need to do mine. The little spring loaded pieces (that make to the key) push out and push back in. I exchanged those little parts from one cylinder to another.
