Seized lock cylinders- any hope?

this may not be exactly recomended..but i have loosened very stiff cylinders this way sucessfully...

insert little red wd40 tube into cylinder as far as you car...spray retracting it out of the clinder (stop spreaying before it comes out though) insert key...gently work it a bit...repeat (quite a few times) do NOT lean on the key it WILL snap (in fact might be a good time to get a new key cut to dso this with so key is not work weakened! more often than not this will really help..if you can get movement then repeat but using duck oil....and BING nice free cylinder..

like i say never done it with a solid cylinder...but have with stiff ones...and you dont have to remove anything...so its got to be work a try!
