on a point of interest this is with an auto box right?

im asking because i have heard rumours that the auto box isnt good in snow..but the manual is...which would probably make sense as i believe that in sweden (like most of europe) autoboxes are not popular - and over here volvo's are rated as being good in snow.....which would make sense for a car designed in sweden...have you seen there weather!

Now i have to say my own experience of an auto box in snow (not in a volvo) is that they are particualarly nasty...without traction control....
