940 Purchase advice

I have 203k on 92 940T, bullet proof drive train. I live in Pennsylvania and have lost control on almost freezing wet roads twice. I am not a fast driver but the light rear end and the immediate torque spins the wheels very quickly resulting in loss of control. Both crashes happened on very subtle turns and the rear end just slid out. You must use H rated tires or better on this car and good snows in the winter. I grew up driving rwd cars in Pittsburgh and learned to drive in the snow. This is the worst snow car I have ever driven. At the slightest hint of cold rain or snow we pretty much park the car and use another. My wife had a 1998 S90/960 that was very good in the snow, slush and foul wheather but the 940T is useless. Other than that, excellent car. Good luck.
