stereo replacement 240 gl

Ya know... Crutchfield always has a good selection at a fair price. Plus they have the fit kits for the stereo installation. I have ordered a few things from them and they are usually within $10 of whatever I can find at Circuit City/Best Buy or whatever, and of course then you have to spend more money getting this kit and that kit. Crutchfield is really good.

I recommend (highly!) that you wire the stereo straight from the head unit, and forget about the amplifier. Basically dump the amp. It'll take a little longer, but it is MUCH better off sound-wise in the long run. ANd with respect to longevity as well. The factory amp has LESS power than most aftermarket stereos. And yes, you should pitch the speakers as well, if you are motivated to do so and don't mind the expense.
