Installing a temp guage for the tranny

Well I think more information is better. Monitoring the temps w/o trailer and then with, will help establish a trend. If your temps go too high whilst trailering you can always pull over and let it cool down. Is this what you are thinking? I think that's a good idea.

I have seen probes mounted in the pan drain, but that is prolly not a good idea. A tee fitting in a cooler line would be do-able, however. I am not sure of any ports on the tranny itself except for the pressure port for checking governor pressure. I have the green book for the AW-71 series, so I will look in there and repost here if I find anything.
