how to wire a 12v constant lead for stereo??

I have 2 suggestions. 1. Are you sure your sterio is not defective. 2 In the original radio harness the negative leads for the front speakers are spliced into the chasis ground (normal for low end sterios). High power aftermarket sterios don like this. They usually warn that serious damage to the unit will result. I don't know is this might blow fuses. You might want to check your speaker wires to make sure they are not grounded to the chasis.
