fuel problem 140-160 1974

I have recently had a 74 volvo given to me. It is a great little car, it ran great for a while but not now. Took it to a garage and I have replaced the fuel distributor and fuel regulator. The car still runs like crap. Actually it is hardly running at all. It will idle fine but when you put the car in gear to go and give it gas it powers out. The engine has recently been rebuilt, the gas tank has been cleaned out, fuel filter has been replaced, timing has been checked, injectors are all working. Need I say more. I don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions.
