Rebuilt Engines

thanks,

I left the car at a good indy garage and I'm sure the engine has little to no compression. Since the engine was already middle aged (177K) a valve job might simply perpetuate my problem. An older engine w/like new compression might use lots of oil or the rings might have been damaged from the overheating. I think what this comes down to for me is the confidence I would have in a completely rebuilt motor vs. a motor w/a valve job. Just my humble opinion but I appreciate your input.
