Rebuilt Engines

There were a number of posts a couple of years ago about Volvo's rebuilt engines. Volvo evidently jobbed out the work in the North American Market, and there were a significant number of posts here about problems with those engines.

I do my own R&R, and take the parts to a local machine shop. Some of the local shops offer assembly of their overhauled engines as part of the package. Have you considered that?

If you are near Philly, you aren't very far rom Brian Leppin in Maryland. He is in the Volvo used parts business and is extremely reputable with great prices. Why don't you try him for a used engine? Brian@volvousedparts.com, phone 1-3-1-367-2244.
