well if you are going to slap the 86+ front end onto the 80 242, then you should be able to use the 86+ grille, right? It looks like that is just what the guy in the picture did.

Wow, I didn't know the 80 242 was in abundance anywhere! :) Yeah, the rally gauge cluster is cool, but you have to find it first! I don't really like the older style dashboard, though. I would rather have the 81+ style dashboard.

On my 90 240, I like my headlights in terms of brightness, but the beam pattern is kind of bad. My lenses haven't turned yellow yet, and the wiring to the headlight relay is new, maybe that is why they are still pretty bright. I plan to install the euro lights some day.

On my 84, I have the H4 sealed beam conversion lights, and they have a great beam pattern, but are not as bright as the 90. When I upgrade the wiring, then they should be brighter.
