Intermittent cut out while accelerating 700 1988

Today i checked/replaced some more wiring. Also the ground trees next to the headlights I cleaned up. Still no change. Problem is back to intermittent. It does seem like when I shut off engine and turn back on it sometimes temporarily cures problem. I checked the ohms on the AMM and it was within specs. One of these days it might get fixed.
