NGK 6 or 7?

IPD shows NGK BPR7ES (or BP7ES) sparkplugs for the Volvo 4 cylinder turbo engine 1981-1993, NGK BPR6ES (or BP6ES) for the 4 cylinder non-turbo engine 1976-1993. FCPGroton shows NGK BPR6ES for both turbo and non-turbo engines. Perhaps the NGK BPR7ES sparkplug is one step colder than the BPR6ES, but which is right for the 230FT engine (summer, winter, year round)? Please, explain. Thank you.
