Help! 91 - 940 turbo electrical problem

This is one of the best ways to fry all your engine electronic$$$ including the ECU and AMM. I have a BIG label on my battery stating "Do Not Disconnect While Ignition is ON". I hope you didn't do any damage. In general, don't unplug any engine electrical components when the ignition is on except for simple sensors.

If a diode is failing in the regulator, your battery charge can leak down. I still think you should look at the voltage regulator.
