Sounds like Alternator by the voltage drop note you made. It may be worthwhile to attempt charging the battery. If you can get the thing lit again drive it over to Advance or Autozone (or one of the parts stores near you) and have them check the Alternator. They can do it in the car by putting the electrical charging under stress.
