power lock alteration 300 89

I have this idea I stole from my Audi 5000 quattro. I would like to find the driver's side door power lock actuator and put one on the passenger front door so I can unlock the doors from the passenger side. Has anyone done this and if so can you give my the specifics on how you made this work. I think this would make it a lot more convienent to open the doors.
