Done the rotor change, and pad change(3-4 yrs old).
Thanks to Aaron and Bob for informing me regarding the 10mm hex socket.
Now I have shiny ATE power discs and new Axxis(PBR)brake pads. Also new Lucas guide pins and rubber boots(from IPD)
The piston dust rubber boots are cracked/ripped.As I dont have experience and parts to rebuild the caliper,I just left them for a future date.Would be helpful if someone can suggest where to get these caliper rebuild kit as IPD dont sell them.
Tomorrow will tackle the lubrication of rear brakes(1 yr old)
Victoria day w'end project.Change rotors(got IPD's ATE power discs 10.25")and pads(Ipd July 4 sale last yr).
With ltd money, can someone with the same car who has done the same procedure point out the correct allen/hex socket to get to remove the rotors.
Diff. to find cheap metric size allen sockets in the cold white North which is supposedly more metric!
