From memory, the disc thickness new is about 0.88" and allowable is 0.80 minimum. This needs to be checked though. The brake job is almost painless unless the piston seals are torn or you send a spring flying into turf as I did last time. Simply remove the tiny cotter pins on the pad locating pins, tap the pins out carefully watching to unhook the springs before they unhook themselves and pull the pads. Transfer the pad shims, depress the pistons carefully with a non- sharp tool (I use the Volvo jack handle or I vise grip the old pads just before removing) and slide the new pads in. Tap in the pins, install the springs and cotter pins and that's it. Just pump the brakes to build up pressure before you head out for a test drive.
